How wierd!! We live in Meridian too and this morning we found this exact looking Katydid on our window, he stayed there for over an hour.
Naturally we did a little study on Katydid's today for my son's homeschool :).
They must be "out" and about now or something??
I found the same looking Katydid at my home in Meridian (Turtle Creek Subdivision) near Ustick and Linder Roads. I didn't realize these critters are in Idaho. My wife grew up in Salt Lake and says she used to see them all the time.
