I love these
storage boxes from Sterilite. The largest one can be used with hanging file folders. The other sizes are handy to for organizing manipulative's and supplies. A bonus is that they are stack-able. They are pretty affordable too, usually about $5 for the large size, a few places have had them for $8 which is still a pretty good deal for their versatility. The largest one measures

You could storage up to a 1 1/2 inch binder in them and still get the lid closed.

I store them on an old rolling utility cart.
I find it very helpful and the boys like not having to look all over the house for their school work.

These days almost everyone I know is trying to stretch a dollar. I have a love affair with centerpieces and one day I will be able to leave one out on my table, just 'cause, not only for holidays or when I'm hosting something for grownups. The kids aren't usually 'nice' to my centerpieces. Anyway...
