All the good

I got this print last year at the Art and Roses event in Boise, ID. The quote really struck me, because sometimes (like right now) the world is a terrible and overwhelming place. I want to help, but feel helpless and feel like my contribution would be inadequate compared to the need. I want to help my community and support them but I am also struggling and finding I don’t always have the bandwidth for my own struggles and my neighbors. I think in these times it’s important to prioritize self care, but to also reach out and make and sustain the connections that you can. It might not be you starting a revolution in your town or state. It may just be listening to a friend and validating their feelings. I am trying to just focus on the small moments I can make a difference to others,  one day at a time. It’s not much compared to the need, but it’s what I can offer and small drops in a bucket add up to a full pail.🪣
