The boys and I decided to stay up late and welcome in 2009. We watched some movies and then watched the ball drop in NY. We look a little over tired and sugared up in this photo, because we were. Levi called about 5 minutes will midnight, but he's in California right now so really he won't be in 2009 for another hour. So I guess you could say we are in the future and he is still in the past. Anyway, I am off to bed. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

We made a snowman today. We thought we would hurry before all the snow melted away. It was up to 40 degrees here today, which was a great change from 22 degrees. Here he is, he doesn't really have a name, Oliver thought he should be called Indiana Jones, Kaleb said it should be Rudolph the Snowmen, and Josef calls him Fred. He has a plastic christmas bulb ornament nose, yarn ball eyes and pipe cleaner eyebrows.

My Brother-in-law Birney, gave me these cool kids baking kits for Christmas. You can see them and order them here. The ingredients are all natural and organic. These are like Betty Crocker mixes for kids, but way funnier! They come with a cool Safari map that gives step by step instructions to how to make teh mixes- along with fun learning activities. The kids can be more independent and the Mom doesn't have so much mess. This was a quick, easy, and fun activity for the boys. I give this product five stars for Mom and Kid friendly.
