Spiritual Sundays: By Small and Simple Things

Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.  Alma 37 6-7

I have been blessed in my life to to not be the receiver of grand miracles from God, but the receiver of millions of small and simple acts of kindness and love. They have been like little hugs from my Heavenly Father. We often remember these small kindnesses for a lifetime.  The effect of simple acts of kindness transcend religion, race, and culture. A smile, a polite gesture, a simple act of service, a kind word all communicate a Christ-like love to others.

I loved this story of a small and simple act of kindness: Bozeman officer buys groceries for shoplifting suspect
